School Opening Hours

Eardisley CofE Primary School currently offers total weekly hours of 31 hours and 40 minutes of compulsory attendance

The School gates open at 8.30am

The school bell rings at 8.55am and all children must arrive by this time

We strongly encourage all children to be prompt and ready to start the school day at 8.55am

If you do arrive late then it is important to enter school via reception. Children will be marked late in the register if registration has finished (Registration closes at 9.15am)

The number of late attendances is then recorded and noted on school reports

School finishes at 3.10pm for Key Stage 1 and 3.15pm for Key Stage 2.  Children can be picked up from the playground at the front of the school

Access to the school at all other times must be via the School office to ensure the safety and security of our children

if children are travelling by school transport they will be escorted on to the relevant bus by a member of staff

It has been announced that all mainstream state funded schools are to open for a minimum of 32.5 hours per week by September 2024. This means pupils going to school Mondays to Fridays for 6.5 hours daily.  Currently our school times 08:55 to 15:10 (Key Stage One) and 15:15 (Key Stage 2). We are therefore going to need to extend our school day to ensure we offer 32.5 hours per week for both key stages
