Personal, Social & Health Education (PSHE) and Relationships, Sex and Health Education (RSHE)

At Eardisley CE School, Relationships, Sex and Health Education (RSHE) is an important part of our curriculum. Our aim is to help children develop the knowledge, skills and values they need to lead safe, healthy and respectful lives.

We teach RSHE in an age-appropriate and sensitive way, ensuring that all content is suitable for primary school pupils. Lessons focus on areas such as friendships, family relationships, health and wellbeing, personal safety and growing and changing. We encourage children to ask questions, express their feelings, and develop confidence in understanding themselves and others.

Through RSHE, we aim to equip our pupils with the confidence, resilience and understanding they need to build healthy relationships, stay safe, and thrive both in school and throughout their future development.
