Who we are
We’re the parent–teacher and friends association at Eardisley CE Primary School, open to all parents, carers, staff, and friends of the school. We work hard to support school life through fundraising, community-building, and enriching opportunities for the children.

What we do and why
School budgets are always stretched, and many of the extra things that enrich children’s learning and experience—equipment, events, resources, trips—are only possible thanks to FOES. We do more than raise money: we bring people together, make school events fun, and help foster a strong connection between home, school, and the wider community.
How we raise funds
We organise a range of fundraising activities (many with a social twist), including:
- Christmas cards
- Christmas raffle
- Kington Community Shop Week
- Pre-loved uniform sales
- The “Your School Lottery” scheme
- Annual school fete
- Halloween disco, quiz nights, and other fun events
We’re always open to fresh ideas—if you have one, get in touch!
How we use funds
All money raised goes back into the school to enrich pupil's experiences. Some of what FOES has supported includes:
- Contribution to iPads or technology
- Transport for swimming lessons
- Subsidies for school trips (for all year groups)
- Year 6 leavers’ hoodies
- Book bags for reception children
- Treats, events, and seasonal surprises the children love
Buy pre-loved uniform
We run a pre-loved uniform service. Parents and carers can email FOES at the address above to ask about specific items, sizes, or donations. We’ll help you find what you need (and rehome what’s no longer used) as affordably as possible.
Support us with Easyfundraising
You can raise money for FOES while doing your regular online shopping. We are signed up with Easyfundraising—just shop via their links with over 7,500 brands and a donation comes our way at no extra cost to you.

- Halloween Disco - Friday 24th October (during the school day)
- Roaming Reptiles - Tuesday 9th December (during the school day) - a Christmas Treat for the whole school
